PHS Routs Ramapo 19-8 Behind Stellar Start by Allen Bryant and Michael Hellstern’s “Game of His Life”
Allen Bryant scored 5 straight goals to open up the Tigers’ rout of Ramapo, Mike Olentine blasted 5 second half goals to keep the Raiders at bay, and Michael Hellstern played the “game of his life” highlighted by what should be an ESPN Top 10 Plays of the Day goal and four assists as well as winning numerous ground balls. Joe Sandford scored 4 goals, Doug Bryant added 3, and Pat Lynch netted a beauty. Griffin Peck was spectacular in goal and the entire defense played tough against a skilled Ramapo team. Princeton Dominates Mt. Olive in State Quarterfinal Game, 16-3 (Star Ledger May 20,2010)
Doug Bryant sank five goals and Mike Olentine contributed four goals and three assists to lead the way for 19th-ranked and top-seeded Princeton (16-4) in the Group 2 quarterfinals in Princeton. Princeton built an 11-1 advantage in the opening half en route to its 13th victory in the last 14 games. Jimmy Pastena scored two goals and Aaron Gonzalez had one for Mount Olive (10-9). PHS Laxers Shutout Wall 18-0 in First Round of State Tournament, Doug Bryant Notches 100th Career Goal!!!

PRINCETON BOROUGH – Many high school boys’ lacrosse teams don’t have a single 100-goal scorer on their roster. Many more don’t have two.
Princeton now has three.
Doug Bryant joined brother Allen and their classmate Michael Olentine in the 100-goal club late in the first quarter of the top-seeded Little Tigers’ 18-0 shellacking of No. 16 Wall yesterday in the first round of the NJSIAA Group II tournament. “Brotherly Love” and CVC Honors Highlight Memorable Senior Day and 17-3 Triumph Over Hightstown
The role of brothers in the history of lacrosse is well established. There are the legendary Powell brothers (Casey, Ryan and Mikey) and the Gait brothers (Gary and Paul) all of whom are considered among the game’s all-time greatest players. #1 Ranked UVA has 4 sets of brothers on its current roster. Entire JV Team Contributes to Season Finale and Record 13th Win, Beating Hightstown, 8-3
The Tiger JV laxers capped off their record season with an impressive, total team effort by defeating Hightstown 8-3 at home. Josh Hsieh (acknowledged by many to be the most dedicated laxer on either the JV or Varsity teams), Tom Cacciola (who wears the legendary lacrosse #22 deservedly), Dart Howell (working towards making the Russian national team for the Lacrosse World Games 4 years from now), Colin Hofer (Coach Miller, Colin and Graham Schaefer need new helmets next year!) and Javon Pannell (pound for pound the world’s toughest laxer) all (more)
